Delhi's Raaj Kaa Roop Avenue Court on Wednesday granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party 's MLA Narender Balwan in a case of forcible possession , but he was immediately arrested again in another case. Delhi Police 's Crime Branch had arrested Balwan in a case of forcible possession on November 30. The court on Wednesday granted him bail. However, shortly after, Balwan was arrested in a Mokka (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) case. The court granted Narender Balwan a bail of 50,000 rupees.
Immediately after the bail, the Crime Branch informed the court that Balwan was arrested in the Mokka case. On November 30, 2024, Delhi Police's Crime Branch had arrested Balwan in a conversation with gangster Kapil Sangwan, also known as Nandu. The court also asked the police to respond to Balwan's bail plea. The court issued a notice to Delhi Police and directed them to submit their response by Wednesday. The police claimed during the hearing that Balwan had not cooperated in the investigation. Delhi Police on Wednesday sought the court's permission to arrest the accused MLA Narender Balwan again in a new case of alleged organized crime after his three-day detention in a case of forcible possession was over. The police requested the Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Parshu Dalal to send the accused to judicial custody and also sought his re-arrest under Mokka in another case
