The black boxes of the passenger plane that crashed at South Korea's southwest airport last month stopped recording four minutes before the incident. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, investigations by the American National Transportation Safety Board revealed that the flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR) both stopped storing data shortly before impacting the ground. The ministry's Aviation Railway Accident Investigation Committee plans to identify the cause of the data loss.
