The weather department predicted heavy rainfall and raised an 'Orange' alert for states including Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Nagaland, and Gujarat.
Intense rainfall affected the Andheri Subway and several areas, including the vicinity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
