A jury in San Diego found last month that Jones intentionally shared an intimate photo of a woman with others without her consent.
Jacque Jones had been suspended indefinitely as the Nationals' assistant hitting coach in 2017.
“She feels vindicated in that they found him liable,” said Robert Fitzpatrick, attorney for the woman, identified in court records as Jane Doe. “She feels that she was more harmed than maybe the jury felt that she was … but it was still a victory.”Jones, who joined the Nationals in 2016, was suspended in September 2017, days after the lawsuit was filed.
