In his debut as Google’s cloud leader, Thomas Kurian emphasizes partnerships and playing nice with competitors by jillianiles
with seven open source firms, including MongDB and Confluent, and better integrating them it its own product.
Customers will have unified support and billing for any of those products through Google’s console, and Google will have a revenue-sharing model with the open source companies.
