A man in a Trump T-shirt may face prison after he admitted to abusing worshippers outside the Al Noor Mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, where 42 people were killed in a terrorist attack last month
Daniel Nicholas Tuapawa, 33, is alleged to have hurled Islamophobic abuse last Wednesday evening. He was wearing a black T-shirt emblazoned with the word"Trump" at the time, police said.Tuapawa appeared Friday in Christchurch District Court and admitted disorderly behavior. The charge carries a possible prison term of three months, or a fine of up to NZ$2,000 .Daniel Nicholas Tuapawa.
