Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declares that the investigations of Pres. Trump and his 2016 campaign were “case closed” for him and blasted Democrats in Congress for what he sees as their “unhinged partisanship.”
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declared on Tuesday that the investigations of President Donald Trump and his 2016 campaign were “case closed” for him and blasted Democrats in Congress for what he sees as their “unhinged partisanship.”
Sen. Mitch McConnell says Democrats"refuse to make peace" with the results of 2016 and calls on them to move on from the Mueller probe:"The last stage of grief is acceptance. For the country's sake, I hope my Democratic friends get there sometime soon" https://t.co/ZmUp1hr4Ef pic.twitter.com/kuPM49KklB
“Saying it's case closed doesn't make it so,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., told reporters Tuesday. “It’s sort of like Richard Nixon saying, ‘Let’s move on’ at the height of the investigation of his wrongdoing,” Schumer said. “Of course he wants to move on." “I think unless Mr. Mueller has changed his mind, I think his report is pretty clear that he did not recommend an indictment of the president for collusion, for conspiracy, or for obstruction of justice,” Kennedy said.
