Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday the nominations of Herman Cain and Stephen Moore to the Federal Reserve remain in the preliminary stage. Asked in an interview with CNBC if Cain's nomination was in trouble, Pence replied: "We're very early in the nomination process," adding "we'll see how it plays out." Trump said on Wednesday that "he likes Herman Cain," Pence noted.
