The Queen doesn’t tweet, so she’s hiring someone who is good at it.
Buckingham Palace is hiring a digital communications manager who is well-versed in social media, digital communications and doesn’t mind keeping Queen Elizabeth II in the public eye.
“Whether you're covering a state visit, award ceremony or Royal engagement, you'll make sure our digital channels consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences,” the job description says on the Royal Household’s website.The job description goes on to say the Royal Household is looking for a “natural communicator” who enjoys working with a small team.
Beyond salary, there’s rubbing against royalty that cannot be taken off the resume. And other main duties in the role include keeping the Queen and her family in the worldwide spotlight.
