'[The alleged victims] are lying on me... I have been assassinated. I have been buried alive.'
In his first interview since his arrest in February, an emotional R. Kelly denied the allegations of sexual abuse that he currently faces, saying that the women who have accused him are lying.“I’m very tired of all of the lies,” he told co-host Gayle King on “CBS This Morning,” adding that, “everybody says something bad about me. Nobody said nothin’ good… I’m not Lucifer. I’m a man. I make mistakes, but I’m not a devil, and by no means am I a monster.
But according to Kelly, none of that is true. Not only did he tell King that he’s never had sex with anyone under 17 but he said, “[The alleged victims] are lying on me… I have been assassinated. I have been buried alive.” Despite King’s efforts to calm the 52-year-old down, he continued, “Quit playing! I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me! I’m fighting for my fucking life! Y’all killing me with this shit!”
Kelly claims he was in relationships with both Jocelyn Savage and Azriel Clary and that they were with him based on love, not force.“What kind of father, what kind of mother would sell their daughter to a man?” Kelly replied.
