SpaceX prepares to make history tomorrow with its 1st-ever human spacecraft launch

This flight is the culmination of years of development of the spacecraft under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program . While SpaceX has been busy sending cargo missions to the ISS for the last few years, sending humans to space has always been the long-term goal. That mission will see two NASA astronauts – Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley – launch on board the spacecraft, travelling to the ISS to stay for between five and 30 days. Ultimately, Crew Dragon is designed to be able to stay in space for up to 210 days.
