Mariah Carey was honored with the Icon Award at this year's Billboard Music Awards because, like, duh.She was the first female artist to ever hit #1 on the Billboard charts, has had over six #1 albums on the charts, and has broken countless other records because that's what icons do!
Before receiving her very much deserved award, Mariah performed HIT 👏 AFTER 👏 FREAKING 👏 HIT 👏 and it was EVERYTHING!!!She performed"A No No," “Always Be My Baby,” “Emotions,” “We Belong Together," and “Hero.” Don't believe me? Taylor Swift was in the audience during the show and, as Mariah would say, she was"Obsessed."Look at those dance moves!! Bopping along to a bop. Yesss, Taylor!And she was singing along, with her eyes closed and everything! She was ~feeling it~.Like, she is BREAKING. IT. DOWN. Would have been 100% okay with her getting on stage.
