United Airlines adds nonbinary gender option for flight bookings
United Continental Holdings Inc.'s UAL, +1.47% United Airlines said Friday it will become the first U.S. airline to offer "non-binary gender" booking options for its customers. United said customers now have the option of selecting the title "Mx." during booking, and can identify themselves as M , F , U or X , corresponding with what is indicated on their passports or identification.
