In honor of Women's Day, we chat with Judi Wineland, a trailblazer in the women's adventure travel realm. Here's how she went from passionate traveler to co-owning AdventureWomen with her two daughters and developing female-focused tours around the world.

. Susan wanted to ensure that a woman would take her “baby” to the next level and to keep her legacy alive. That felt like a tall order and an immediately looked at my two daughters and thought, “Hmmm.”immediately pulled out a notepad and started scribbling out best- and worst-case projections up to this point had not been as involved in our other companies, was fascinated with the A little due diligence and that was it! We called Susan back and the rest is history .
